Become a Tutor
The Khmer Lesson (TKL)
Students have to check teacher availability via the teachers’ schedule and register for lessons accordingly.
Students should be on time for every lesson. Students must inform teachers of any delays at least 30 minutes before the lesson starts.
Please inform the teacher of cancellations at least 12 hours in advance.
Students should not use phones during lessons.
Students should try to speak Khmer as much as possible during class.
Students must sign an attendance sheet provided by the teacher after the lesson.
Students have to pay applicable lesson fees to TKL before starting classes (after the trial lesson).
Validity of class packages:
10 hours valid for 90 days (counted from the first lesson)
20 hours valid for 150 days (counted from the first lesson)
30 hours valid for 240 days (counted from the first lesson)
Female teachers cannot have one-to-one classes at a male student’s residence. Classes between male students and female teachers should be held in a public space such as a café or office.
Students can provide lesson feedback viewable by other students.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Once students want to stop the class, they cannot tranfer remaining time to other students.
The class should start from 60 minutes up.
