• Payment:

  - 1 student:	$6 - 1 hour
  - 2 students:	$9 - 1 hour
  - Group lesson:	$10 - 1 hour
  - Online (Skype):	$6 - 1 hour

• Teachers must coordinate the lesson schedule with each student on the website.
• Teachers should be on time for every lesson. If there will be a delay teachers must inform students at least 30 minutes before the scheduled lesson.
• If a teacher has to cancel a lesson, please inform the student at least 12 hours before the start of the scheduled lesson.
• In the case of a teacher cancelling too many classes resulting in student complaints, TKL has the right to remove that teacher from the website.   
• Teachers must provide one free trial lesson for each new student. During this first meeting, the teacher should assess the student’s level of ability. They then can discuss their teaching methods and the materials which will be used.
• While working with The Khmer Lesson (TKL), teachers must promise to interact with students only through the TKL website. TKL has the right to remove any teacher from the website who does not respect this rule.
• Teachers should not use the phone during lessons.
• Teachers should provide homework for the students.
• During the class teachers should try to speak Khmer to the students as much as possible.
• Teachers must have the student sign an attendance sheet upon completion of the lesson. Attendance sheets without a signature will not be paid.
• Teachers will be paid after finishing 10 hours of classes. If teachers need to be paid before 10 hours, they can discuss this with The Khmer Lesson (TKL).
• Teachers must inform TKL of any extracurricular payments they might receive from students. 
• If the teacher must cancel several classes, teachers must inform TKL in advance.
• An ABA bank account is recommended for ease of teacher payments. In the case of a teacher not having an ABA account, we will transfer money to the teacher through Wing or True Money, however the teacher is responsible for the transfer fee.
• If the teacher cannot provide their own student materials, TKL can provide textbooks for a $5 fee.
